REGE
knew that in order to have a happy life it was necessary for him to
laugh and to create laughter. Hardly a day went by that he didn’t
say, “you’ve gotta have laughs.” To
honor REGE’S memory, you might want to. . . Wave
to a railroad engineer. . . Help
a friend in need. . . Take
a walk in the woods. . . Paint
a picture, build a model, do something creative. . . Check
the Pirates’ box score. . . Call
your sister. . . Offer the mailman a cold drink. . . Ride
a trolley. . . Get on the floor and play with your dog. . . Read
a good book. . . Teach your granddaughter to draw. . . Give back when you’ve been on the receiving end. . . Enjoy a Big Band performance. . . Leave your wife a funny note by the coffee pot in the morning. . . Be
the best you can be at whatever you do. . . And,
most importantly, do whatever you can in even a small way to find a
cure for the disease that did such appalling things to the body, if
not the spirit, of this beloved husband, father, grandfather, relative
and friend... REGE CORDIC. May he rest in peace. May
